I'd recommend a movie for everyone; "The Lives of Others." It's an German film about an East German citizen who is placed under surveillance by the Stasi, for reasons completely unknown to the Stasi officer who is running the operation. It's a shocking film, considering the number of German friends I have who actually grew up with this being their daily reality. It presents a frighteningly clear image of what it's like living in a totalitarian society, where the slightest slip of the tongue can cause a person to "disappear." The interviews at the conclusion are also more than a little bit disconcerting, when one of the former Stasi officers mentions that at the height of East Germany's powers, they had teams to conduct a total of about 30 full-on surveillances depicted in the film. He made the comment that if they (the Stasi) had the electronic monitoring capabilities present here in the US today, East Germany would never have fallen.

Stupid criminals bragging on facebook, walking like wolves among the unarmed sheep. Yeah , use facial tech and nab them . But, don't downgrade my status because I associte with someone whose fico score is in the 500s. I saw this article in a men' s health Magazine at the barber shop. My daughter has a low fico score and after putting herself through nursing school of her rn degree 4 yrs ago still can't get hired. .. makes more managing a bar for friends .. . But society lost a damn good nurse
