SO WHO BUILDS A 600-1000yrd BR rifle FAST?

Perhaps you're missing the point....all GOOD smiths have a backlog.....and you should get to the front of the list because-_____________,fill in the blank)

Oh I do understand backlogs...but I guess I should have been a bit more clear....I am in the mfg. business...I would NEVER let myself get backlogged for 16 months,etc. Or even a month. I would first stop taking orders until I was caught up.

I am pretty sure I am not the only person who when told they have to give a half down deposit and then wait a year plus that say sorry and make more calls.

The smith I went with had the same outlook. He is a known smith,listed in the top smiths section) and I have shot one of his rifles...and won a 1000yrd match with it....and is able to build me the rifle within a couple of weeks.

You are indeed fortunate to find a such a quick turn-around time......I just hope it's not the same Smith that quoted me 8-9 months 3 weeks ago,w/all components already in-hand)
