So what's the difference (Ruger 1A?? 1B??)

I'm looking at purchasing an older Ruger number 1A from someone. I like this rifle because it's a singleshot, and also a 30-06 with open sights!! I have never seen one like this.
So my question is whats the difference between the 1A and the 1B?? Looking at Gunbroker I can't seem to find the 1A.
I see that they are quite pricy, but this gun here looks unfired, or at least not fired much.
Any help please??
Thank you

Well, the 1B i purchased the other month doesn't have any sights on it.
Weights about 10lbs bare.

Mine has what looks like a short plastic vent rib on the barrel.
Takes the Ruger rings.
As opposed to the 77 MKII, the #1 takes the same height rings front and rear.

1B model has a 26" barrel with no sights and longer forearm. The "vent rib" on the barrel should be steel, designed to serve as a scope ring base and is cut for use with Ruger rings.
1A models generally have 22" barrels, shorter forearms and iron sights.
