So what do you think of the Ross Rifle?

I'm really interested in the Ross Rifle the complete rifle with Ross-Gikes action, I just curious if any uses any of the components stocks, action or so on and could tell what they think of the workmanship on the rifle? I want to set up in a 6mm BR for 105 Secnars I would like to use a Bartlein Barrel because they build 5R single point cut profile rifling patterns and I think there is possibly some advantage to the design in both velocity and reduced bullet deformation. Primarily my usage would be 300-600m prone and occasional 1000 yard. I think the little 6mmBR can do it. I want to setup for factory ammunition so I can shoot cheaply while in college... And information on cartridge, barrel or Gun would be most helpful...
