So how long from loading to shooting in competition?

I clean my brass really well. I've had some cold welding issues cause velocity variations. Reseating right before the match solves it.

I think you cause your own problem, when you take the black out of the neck. In all my years of loading, I never had an issue with cold welding and I don't tumble or use an ultrasonic cleaner. But I only get a 100+ firings out of my cases..... jim
