If you are measuring base to tip, probably a little. The plastic tip is most likely a bit more consistent. But, ideally you'd want to measure from base to ogive and remove that variable all together.

All things being equal out to 600 yds. it doesn't matter. From 600 on out uniform meplats of the TMK will win out.

I tested the TMKs and they shot nice "round" groups. I then shot the SMKs and the groups were tighter than the TMKs. I stuck with the SMKs.

This will be the difference- plastic tip length-

Measure OAL only- then sort accordingly..

I had the exact opposite results.

Never checked them for what you are asking , but I can tell you that the TMK's are much more seating depth sensitive . They like being close to the Leade .
