Smith & Wesson press release on the 2nd amendment.

Tell us the story about what they did under clinton.
S&w and kahr arms are worthy of our support at the moment for all they do. Justin moon from kahr bows to no one on his beliefs i assure you. If you could talk to him for just a bit youd buy the first kahr you came across. Theyre a year behind right now tho so good luck.
I got a chance to meet Justin at his plant in Worcester, Mass after I bought my first Kahr in 96. What a smart and knowledgeable person he is. He had a vision and a dream and he followed thru with it. When I got the tour of the place and left I was thoroughly impressed with him.

It can be difficult to forget the past. I'm going to go with "what have you done for me lately?", move on and hope that this is a new dawn at S&W.
Sometimes it's not the mistakes you make, it's how you recover from them. Schultz stepped down in 2000. I'd say the brush with bankruptcy probably taught them a lesson they still have not forgotten. Love my X frame 460!

Smith & Wesson is a storied, wonderful company, with a long history of outstanding products. They have long been my favorite revolver. And their AR-15 is a very nice rifle.

But, yes, they did cave to the Clintons back in the 90's. And although that CEO of theirs is long gone, the legacy he left behind - most current S&W revolvers still have that silly, stupid lock drilled into their side plate - still remains.

That was a refreshing public statement by Mark Smith, the current CEO. Thanks for posting it, Dusty. But if I was having a beer with Mr. Smith I'd tell him the most telling statement he could make would be to instruct his senior managers to make plans, post haste, to remove that internal lock.

I don't do "woke." And an S&W revolver with an internal lock is a "woke" revolver.
