Smith & Wesson Moving HQ to TN

Years ago a good proportion of S&W’s factory floor workers were women. All around, nice folks…they are the ones that lose, as do all the places where their income was spent. Huge open floor factory, forge rocks the whole place. With the install of CNC tools, there were far less workers. Very memorable place to have spent time. Sad as far as I’m concerned.

I am happy to see that Smith & Wesson or their parent company is bullish enough on America to move their plant to a more gun friendly state. My belief is that the plan was in the works before the current administration took office. I wish them the best of luck.

Agree, I spoke with one of their sales rep at Bud’s Gun Shop in Sevierville today when I picked up my Ruger 6.5 Creedmoor PR. Buds has a big sale on S&W handguns over the weekend.

Cheers,
Frank

^^^^^ What he said . But the funny part is those are the states and cities who demand the biggest discount for their LEO's . While they try with all their "POWER" to take our guns away .

S&W, Barrett and Berretta make the slogan true, "Welcome to Tennessee...the patron state of shootin' stuff."
Lee Co VA needs to move into TN. TN is just like a mile for my home. Look north and you can see KY at top of MTN and TN is just a ridge away looking south. We have been thinking about find a place just over the state line.
