Check for reviews from the UK since they were sold there before they let us get our hands on it. Otherwise buy it and do some charting for checking accuracy. Then you can write a review for this awesome website ;D
 
I've been thinking about just buying one, i've been using the "precision lee dippers" and trickling the leftovers, and thats been working for me though...

I was hoping someone else would do the dirty work ;)

Why would you take a chance of throwing you money away on a unproven product. Have you looked into the into warranty and just where that service might be provided.

The Pact powder scales & dispensors has been around forever and has proven to be a great product, made, serviced and warranted here in the USA. Mine has worked flawlessly for ten years, and it will repeatedly throw charges to + - 0.1 grain. My brother-in-law dropped his and returned it for repair work, he received it back in less then a week and all they charged him was postage.

Better yet the combo can be purchased direct for the very reasonable sum of 229.95, now there's a price that's right.

If you look at a lot of the Smartreloader products they look very similar to many products that American companies already make...Look at their powder trickler (looks identical to Redding), powder measure(looks identical to Redding) and single stage press (looks identical to Lee). I would rather spend a few more $$$ buying American made products from the companies that put in a lot of hours and $$$ developing these products than buying something that a companie has ripped off from another company.
 
Just an opinion...but nobody has reviews because nobody wants to take that much of a risk on an imitation product--your post alone evidences that. Search for the RCBS, Pact, or Lyman and you will find plenty of reviews. I have the RCBS & the Lyman. Prefer the RCBS but use both with confidence. I personally wouldn't risk this much cash on something to save some funds--as even for this unit, it's not like we're talking throwaway money. Theres $0.02.
 
Midsouth has them on sale for $199.00. Does anyone have one? That's a darn good price. Where is it made, Finland?
 
I'll be...does look like an RCBS.........just like everyone thought PACT copied RCBS.....maybe this is the OEM of the newer RCBS.....Oh well I'll keep using my PACT's.
 
have one from graf,last week,but have not tried it out.forget the made in finland.box reads made in china. hornady's new one looks to me, to be the same except for color and minor reconfigurartion,also more money.has two year warranty to original buyer. instuctions are very sparse,i have read and reread and that is why i have noy tried it out, just have not got myself "up" to something new. my price after discount was $178.00.

Yes and I love em', mine say PACT, didn't know why I should spend more for them to be Green and have RCBS on them.....
 
I bought one, not happy with it. They claim 60 grains in 30 seconds it takes over 1 minute to load 40 grains of 4064. I can dump, weight and trickle 3 loads in that time. I have sent them a e-mail today I will let you know what they say. Other then the slow speed everything else works fine.
 
Still no reply from the company I hope yours works better then mine. The company has already demonstrated how their service will be.
 
I ended up buying a PACT for $229 + $8.95 shipping from PACT. I tried it out. It was fast and right on, every load withend 1/10, most loads were right on exact (25 loads). I tested each load aginest a Dillon electronic scale and the PACT and Dillon came out the same on each load. Sure worked for me. Shipping time 10 days.
