Thanks for the report on the Hornady powder dispensor.I haven't had similar problems with my Lyman DPS 3.Timing is ok loading 28gr or less and seating bullets between loads.More powder than that and you need to wait a few seconds.Advantages are ,auto dispense when you return the pan,accurate,and easy clean,with all the grains cleaned out.Hornady has good customer service.Call them and send it back for replacement or fix.

I can't say that the speed of my powder dispenser is a factor when I reload. If it's speed you want then look into a Dillon 550 press and crank out loads like all the major manufacturers do. A normal 30-40gr load of varget with my chargemaster will be ready for me by the time I seat the bullet, check for OAL and place it in the box. 94gr of H-1000 is a different story. I have actualy found that a 5.5gr load of Unique takes about as long as a 32gr load of varget. I don't load for speed. I enjoy the time I spend in the gun room. If it's speed I want I just use the progressive press and crank out 50 rounds in about 3.5 minutes.
