Small rifle primer question?

How much powder can a small rifle primer ignite consistently????

Depends on the powder and case, sometimes weather conditions (cold or hot). I've seen 34 grs of H414 need a small rifle Mag primer for proper ignition.

I'd imagine mid 40s, since that would be the load of the .308 Palma cases Lapua makes.
