Small pistol primer availability

LGS got in a new shipment of CCI and Fed small and Lg pistol and cci sm rifle 2 weeks ago.

Over over the years have learned to maintain what some would call a rather large component inventory. I check a few online retailers every now and then, only to find small pistol primers have been in short supply for well over a year. Have no guess if or when things will return to normal. Have a good supply of everything, but I now find myself considering how much I will shoot per session and whether to shoot at all. Funny thing and have seen this before; my local range is now far busier these days than when supplies were plentiful. Go figure. Have been selling a few primers at my cost to my friends. Pointing other people to Gun Broker and telling them to buy what they need to get by. Hoarding and guys attempting to make a quick buck are driving a portion of the shortages. Fear and new shooters to me are the big drivers of this. Just a lucky guy who has seen a few of these shortages and prepared. Sadly my inventory is finite.
