Slow twist 6BR?

Ive been kicking around ideas trying to figure out how to spend money I dont have.

A slow twist 6BR, I dont see many post on this subject. I built my wife an 8 twist? Could be 7.5 twist.. shoots 105 berger vlds fabulously... since then ive been jelous and want a 6BR too.

However Im thinking about 65-95 gr bullets instead of the 105s...

What twist rate would be best for some lighter bullets? 10 or 12 twist?

What speeds are yall seeing with lighter bullets?

Ive kicked around the idea of a dasher, a brx, a brxd, bra.... and well, I got regular ol BR dies already, and the dang this just plain ol shoots as it is... 100-150 fps gain doesnt do much for me when this barrel would only see inside 300 yards 95% of its intended use... yep hunting.. I got so tickled to death over such light recoil with the 105s, a smaller bullet should be even smoother shooting...

However this begs to be asked, if Im only gonna play inside 300... would the 6 PPC pushing 65-90 gr bullets be a one step up? How would they vompare in velocity with the same bullet, same barrel length?

See http://www.6mmbr.com/Schronce600.html That was the first 6BR I had built, great gun.

I have had 14 thru 8 twist in 6mmBR and 6BRX. For light bullets I like a 12 tw with 70gr Sierria Blitzkings and 87gr Vmax ( they will shoot in my 12 tw)

I have had 10 twist, I just don't like them. They will shoot the light stuff, but you can't shoot heavier bullets. Just get the 8tw you can shoot everything. I now have a 6BR with a 8 tw and a 12tw, the 8tw stays on it all the time.
