Slow twist 6 XC

Is anyone shooting a slow twist 6 XC as a live varmint rifle? I just picked up a 22" Shilen 1 in 14 barrel for a Rem 700. I am curious as to what powder might be best for 75 grain and under bullets.

Yes, I have a 10 Twist with a 26" barrel, and a buddy of mine has a 14 twist with a 24" barrel. Mine shoots 75gr Vmax and not sure what bullet weight he does shoot, but we both coincidently use R-15. WD

Thank you, I played a little with QL and came to the conclusion that RL 15 might be the place to start.

Going to try some very light bullets at first, 55 plastic tip and 62 grain Berger flat base.
