To all Benchrest Shooters,
You are cordially invited to The Sloughhouse Spring Shootout 2021 Competition scheduled for April 23rd -April 25th, 2021.
Located at 15501 Meiss Rd. , Sloughhouse, California 95683.
On the above date, The Sloughhouse Benchrest Shooting Club will be hosting our first (2) day event of the year. Since the Nationals has been moved back until after summer, we wanted to provide an opportunity for all shooting enthusiast to come out and compete early this year. The format for this event will be similar to a Nationals event with a scheduled practice day, and the 600 yard and 1000 yard competition events will be held on separate days, please see the event schedule later in this email. Please note: We have decided to implement alternate shooting relays for this event. That means that no shooter will shoot the same relay for both days. If you shoot relay (1) on the first day, you will automatically be assigned to the (2nd) relay on the second day, and your bench assignment will potentially change as well.
At range #12 there is plenty of parking for cars, trailers, and mobile homes. For those competitors that may need to stay overnight, there are plenty of hotels in the area with reasonable rates. For competitors that have a trailer or mobile home, we have parking for you as well. Our Match Director, Louie Tamagni, has made special arrangements for competitors that desire to bring their recreational vehicles and trailers to the event. You will be allowed to park on-site for the event, and even though the event is over on Sunday, if you want an extra day to just relax. please feel free to stay parked overnight and leave on Monday
No online pre-registration has been implemented. However, we are accepting registrations on the day of the event.
Saturday April 24th - 600 yard competition, start time 8:00am, plaques will be awarded to the top 5 competitors, Cost $50
(Registration will be accepted if you didn’t pre-register)
Sunday April 25th - 1000 yard competition, start time 8:00am, plaques will be awarded to the top 5 competitors, Costs $50
(Registration will be accepted if you didn’t pre-register and you only wish to participate in this last event)
In addition to presenting awards Plaques will be given to the top 5 overall winners at each match and a GRAND Champion plaque will be presented.
Lunch for both days of competition will be provided on site and is included in your payment to compete. At this time we’re planning to serve sandwiches, chips, a beverage, and something sweet.
