Thanks guy's for your participation in this thread, it appears that there's more of us here than I (perhaps we) thought, interesting that many of us have relatively low post counts, wonder why? Mabey we're a little less talk-more shoot, which is not a bad thing

Experienced sling shooters devote about 20% of their discussion about shooting gear/ammo. The rest is about performing in the game.

Another thread in this forum got me thinking about doing a little research. Question: How many current sling shooters are active on this site? If you don't mind please check in by listing the sling discipline(s) you compete in:

(Smallbore prone, if there were any held closer than a 3-1/2 hour's drive for me, on dates that wouldn't conflict with other events noted above....)

I've read where Kentucky has a state match (occasionally) in May, but nothing else close.
