What is an SKS worth in Southern New England?

The owner has a SKS that looks in good condition. Perhaps it was refinished.

What would a dealer pay for it?

What would the owner ask for it if it was on consignment at a dealer?

Do a search on gunbroker prices.This will give you an idea but leave some room to attract a buyer.

It's going to depend what exactly he has and what condition. I'm not a SKS expert by any means, but on Gunbroker most used ones seem to be selling in the $350-400 range, and new are going $500-600+. You can buy "new" Yugo M59/66's versions from Samco for $400, keep in mind. Frankly I'd put $495 on it, some idjit will buy it.
