Sizing down Alpha Munitions 6mm Norma BR brass

Thinking about building a 22 BR . Cannot find any Lapua 6 BR brass.
Has anybody sized down the 6mm Alpha Munitions Brass to the 22 BR caliber?
Wondering about Problems or Issues that I may run into?

Sizing down is not a big deal. Doesn’t matter what kind of brass you’re using. Just do it.

Alpha delivers the best results I've seen in .20, .22, and 6BRA. It's all I buy anymore. Couldn't care less that Lapua isn't available. Alpha is better anyway, so buy with confidence.

I always get a good laugh around 4th of July weekend. Every shooter out there running around screaming "'Mericuh!!!!"

Then on monday they buy foreign product over domestic.

Just got a few boxes in the other day. Happy to have a bit of breathing room again!

Many of us don't have a lick of problems with Alpha. It's almost like the people having problems, are doing things that might not be the right things, if they need weak brass instead of strong brass to do it.
Agree completely about Alpha brass. It’s quality stuff and strong.
About America, couldn’t disagree more. Love this country. Been to a bunch of different ones and wouldn’t want live in any ot them. And buying foreign stuff, with most things there’s no choice no choice. Doesn’t make me A hypocrite.

I fired 25 rounds of Alpha 6BRA brass and within that group one case split right down the side. It was a starting load, nothing drastic. Sent it back, Alpha gave me a whole new box, claimed it must have been a flaw in the brass material, and I sold that new box of brass. Then there came the whole “Alpha” reamer spec thing. Mine is the Wheeler spec reamer. Enough Alpha for me if they can’t make brass that is safe to use in the existing chambers.

Is it good quality stuff? I don’t know and I don’t care. I don’t need more combustion gases burning up my chamber and bolt face.

I’ve been using Peterson and Lapua with good success. Never had any issues with those and Peterson is equally American.
