Sizing brass for a encore

Hello, i have a bullberry encore 6br that i am loading for. I have a redding bushing die set for the 6br. Can i get by just neck sizing for my encore? I read somewhere the other day you have to full length size every time with an encore or it wont lock up right. Is that correct? thanks

That's right i tried it on my MGM barrel want lock up correctly and if you do snap it shut hard enough to get it to cock it want shoot good at all got a lot of vertical in mine ALOT :-[

I do not have a 6BR in an encore but I have barrels in 22-250, 308, and .220 swift. I have tried neck sizing and it works good for my barrels. I neck size twice then full lenght size it on the third reload it seams to work well for me.

For things Contender and Encore, try www.Bellmstc.com.

He has a large library of interesting informative articles on TC's and especially sizing, headspace, etc with a TC. I found it helpful with my K-Hornet Bullberry.

I don't have 6br. In my experience with a 243, it works best (from an accuracy and functionality standpoint) full sizing with an approx .002" shoulder bump from a fired case.
