Hey guys, so I was very interested to hear from a group of seasoned shooters about this topic!!
Please any and all feedback possible I would very much appreciate it.
So I've been reading about this quite a bit, there are a lot of rifle shooters out there who in the sitting rifle posture use their knee to help brace the weapon as an additional contact point. Then there are just as many who simply prop their elbow on the thigh or knee as a way to kind of stabilize it.
Does anyone in their experience believe that the kind of knee pad you're wearing would affect this decision? If it had extra bite to the surface would you feel more comfortable resting any part of the weapon on it, like propping the mag up on your knee in a cross-armed position for example?
I'm a novice at this kind of shooting technique, really just looking for any and all input into the different types of sitting postures for different types of rifles and applications.
Thank you all in advance for any input, insight, and information on your thoughts and experiences.
