This event will have Benchrest, Cross Stick and Offhand courses of fire available. (Participants will choose events they wish to participate in.) A little something for everyone. ASSRA scoring rules apply.

Yeah it seems strange, but this is common practice when shooting off of cross sticks. Seems to go against everything I was taught about accuracy. When Shooting out of a rest I use the forearm in the bags

BPCR Shooters commmonly rest thier barrels in cross sticks. The trick is t find a null point on the barrel.

Not sure, but that seems like it would only matter if the rifle is a floated barrel or not. IF that's a MKII, then probably doesn't matter at all. BTW, everything I saw was scoped. Do you shoot irons?
