Single Shot Adapter for Savage

Does anyone make a single shot adapter for a Savage Model 12? The magazine seems a bit klutzy. This is in .223.

The only one that I am aware of is the Fred Sled at SSS.

The Fred Sled is a glue-in and may require hand fitting (mine did) Check w/ E.A. Brown Co. He has single shot adaptors for Savages that ride atop your present follower and require no hand fitting or epoxying. Simply remove it if you want to feed from the magazine.
