Sinclair's New Rest

legs at lowest, center column at lowest, threaded post at lowest = 4.15"
legs at lowest, center column at highest, threaded post at lowest = 5.92"
legs at lowest, center column at highest, threaded post at highest = 8.08"
legs at highest, center column at highest, threaded post at highest = 9.18"

All of them are measured to the top front edge of the bag holding plate with no bag or holding bars installed.
To find the actual height add the height of your bag.

Thanx John.

And special thanx to Viper for taking the time for the precise measurements.

Trying to get a feel for how it will work for me shooting off a bench.

Surprised that Sincalir doesn't have these kinds of specs in their description of the rest.

Had another range session with the new sinclair and I am still very happy with it. I tried tightening the center column locking screw and spinning the handwheel counter clockwise hence loosening it completely. shot some very nice groups with no detectable movement in the top. Grasping the top with the handwheel loosened and the lock tightened also did no show any appreciable movement.
The big benefit for me is that the switch from windage to elevation does not require me to break my concentration on the conditions, and there is no lash in either adjustment. I was able to break the shot much more relaxed and a few seconds sooner than with the other rest. It may not seem like much but when it comes time to let'em fly it helps me a lot.
I will be using it this season and make a better assessment over time.

I bought the new Sinclair rest it's great. It has a very low center of gravity, it's rock solid, all the adjustments work well and there is no slop.
