Sinclair Nationals?

It’s going on.. I’ve been watching Phil Kelly post updates and he is leading the FTR and I think Ryes Ireland is leading the F open... I think they have dodged a lot of the rain...

I didn’t know there was a Sinclair Nationals F-class tournament????

The Sinclair East Coast Fullbore Nationals at Camp Butner and Spirit of America Fullbore Nationals at Raton are the two biggest full bore matches in the country.

Those that didn't go to this one missed a great match. I got home last night. We managed to only get rained on in one or two matches in 6 days of individual shooting (team day was wet). The NSSA guys ran a great match and had a pretty darned good prize table. Probably the best I've seen outside of the BSWN. (anytime they are giving out barrels, scopes and spotters it's pretty good :D)

I can't find the results online yet. I know the top 3 in F-TR and the top 2 in F-Open but I missed the rest and I'd rather it get up together.

There was a really big turnout from the Palma guys, there were a bunch of them. (I believe this was a match one could use for the US Palma Team tryout)

Actually the tryout for the US team to shoot in the America Cup was conducted Monday. The match was well attended and the level of competition was way up there. Kent Reeve shot the first Palma 450 ever shot at Butner. We also appreciate the patience of all the competitors while we worked around the rain as best we could. Some of us got wet, but all in all we came out pretty well for a week long match conducted this time of year in NC. Thank you all!!

Pictures and scores are posted on our club's Facebook page as well. It was a good match and even with the crazy weather, we were able to get every match in....mostly dry. I was one of the unlucky ones that got rained on during the two matches that got the heavy downpour after starting. We tried our best to keep everyone dry and our "rule" is we wont start a match if its "raining" but we do finish them if it starts raining during the match. Worked pretty well, I think. Glad everyone had fun!
