I'm in need of a new front rest, tired of fighting with a Rock BR. Looking at a Ransom Quick Change and a Sinclair Heavy Varmint BR with windage. The top ends both seem like they'll accept the same bags, and both have adjustable bag tension.
Looking at the product descriptions, the only thing I'm really seeing different is that the Ransom is about $200 more than the Sinclair.
So does the Ransom Rest deliver almost $600 value, $200 moreso than the Sinclair? My competition days are over until my kids get old enough to afford me more range and travel time, so I'm just looking for a solid front rest to do a little playing off of the bench, and smoke pdogs.
