Sinclair F Class Bipod on sale

I noticed this over the weekend and placed an order for one this morning. Sinclair is running a sale on their Gen 3 non-elevation silver F Class bipods for $75. I have a Harris bipod but had been keeping an eye out for something used that would give me some additional stability. For more than half off (and less than you could buy a Harris), I couldn't refuse. The black non elevation version is currently $200, and the elevation adjustment model is $250.

From reading around on this forum it sounds like I'm going to have to get used to a slightly different way of using this bipod (as opposed to pre-loading the Harris).

Thought some other folks would find the link useful. Hope its okay that I posted here instead of the For Sale section.

If it was a difference of $50, yeah probably, but for a difference of $175 I can probably live without.

I have definitely learned to embrace the "buy once, cry once" mantra but everyone has a point where they run outta tears. For what I've got into this sport already (which is far less than a lot of people, I'm sure) I'm fresh out and need to make do where possible.

I have the elevation style and when shooting a standard sporter type stock I never use the elevation knob. There is a little slop in the linkage and I obtain better on target results by screwing the elevation adjustment down tight and moving the rifle in the bag. I typically pull the rifle back further than necessary then move forward to my desired POA.

I use mine with a squeeze bag in the rear so no worries for me. I have owned them both and the non is fine by me.
