Sinclair F-class bipod mounting options.

I usually shoot open from a Farley rest, but recently bought a used sinclair F-class bipod to experiment with, that attaches to sling swivel stud. Which of course most of my rifles no longer have or never had. Where can I find adapters to allow quick detachable mounting via say picatinne rail section on an AR, Arca rail, or Anschutz style rail. Would like to have the option to use it with multiple rifles.

Am I to understand from your opener that you do not have an Anchutz rail already in place on the gun?

Yes, am not talking about any particular rifle, my open guns have a 3" fore end, no rail or swivel stud or anything. I do have an Anschutz 1411 with a rail. I have multiple AR's some with picatinne rail sections up front, have several bolt guns, some with swivel studs that where removed to use on a rest.

Ok. I was going to suggest going to Harris bipod website for an Anschutz rail sling stud adapter. Go anyway and take a look. They have numerous fittings and you may find something that could work for you. Not sure what could help with the bench guns though. Perhaps Harris might be a good starting point. MAYBE, a tripod rifle cradle that could be modified on the bottom to affix a sling swivel stud mount??? I think the bench guns migjt be a little challenging for that bipod.

Yea, I have several benchrests, will probably stick to using them for the bench and F-Open guns, the forum would only let me attach 6 files, but thought the bipod might be a nice option to use with my rimfires, AR's, Remington 700's etc...

Caldwell have a Picatinny to stud adaptor., which may also be available from suppliers of Chinese made odds and ends of rifle accessories, I have changed all my bipods/rifles over to Picatiinny as it allows for interchangeability.
