Savage 110 elite precision bipod mount

Good morning,
I purchased a savage 110 elite precision and I'm waiting to get it out of jail. I have a question for anyone who might have one. I don't really want to spend $400 on a bipod nor do I want to spend $100 on a arca rail sling swivel. Is there anything stopping me from mounting an mlok sling swivel in the bottom rail cut outs?
