Sinclair Custom Rifle - Stock ID help

I have just picked up a Sinclair, Inc. rifle built on a 40x action. It is a .308/.334NK, 11.75 twist 24” barrel in what appears to be a M24 contour. It’s slick as snot and the original 40x trigger has been tuned to perfection.

I originally thought the stock was a McMillan HTG as it is definitely a M40A1 pattern stock, but it doesn’t feel like any McM I’ve handled. It weighs a scant 29oz and has a Pachmayr basket weave pad on it. It is definitely painted fiberglass, but the butt sounds hollow. It is full length bedded, and has held up well over who knows how long. The tang area is also deep, requiring a very distinctive safety relief cut.

Does anyone know what type of stock Sinclair used to build on, or know who made this one?

You might run your pics and description by Tom Meredith.

Tom is a reknowned for his rifle stock work.
He started out doing stock work for Fred Sinclair, before going independent. There is perhaps a chance the Tom might have done work on this stock ?

Tom’s shop has a Ft.Wayne, IN address.

Your stock reminds me of the M40 stock put on my barreled action by Fred’s shop in New Haven, IN. Albeit, my stock’s colors were more like
NATO Woodland camo pattern.

I contacted Tom, and got a quick reply. He said the stock did indeed look like one he would have worked on in the late 80s/early 90s.
