Anybody using Google the Sinclair competition front rest? If so would you recommend them for the price?

They are a good production rest that I see many shooters using.. Many seem to be upgrading to a Seb rest though..

I use and very much like my Sinclair competition front rest. I have 2 tops for it.

A joy stick rest is good if your gun doesnt track that well, or you will be holding off like in F-Class. If the gun tracks well I think the Sinclair is the fastest. Both knobs right next to each other.

I just use the stick for windage, I bottom out my joystick and adjust vertical with my screw...I like how it works, tracks well enough to stay near the patch mostly..

Nope, I have not used either... I do use a joy stick which I feel is a upgrade..Seb has the advantage of versatility to accommodate different guns..

Ray, I had almost every rest including 2 Neo's and never found one that was better for 1000 yd. br. than the Sinclair with the improvement i did to it. If i were shooting F class or score The Neo would be my pick, here again they aren't shooting groups. I never had a Neo that Mike sells with the weighs and one piece bag to make it legal for short range bench rest, but i'm sure they are very smooth……. jim

I don't know if you remember Jim, you sent me the wheel for my home made concoction.. I was just saying that the Sinclair Comp and Seb rest are probably the most popular production rests..

Remember you don't see many lathes with joy stick controls and at 1000 yds the moves are very small if your gun tracks repeatability is the key. jim
