Sinclair Competition Rest?

I'm looking at purchasing a Sinclair Competition Rest. Currently I'm using 2 shadetree tops on a Sinclair Heavy Varmint base. My dilemma is which top to get, the dedicated or all purpose. Most of the matches I shoot have a Custom and a Factory class. In the past I have used a dedicated rest top for each fore end style. It doesn't appear that Sinclair offers a top for the Competition rest separately and I'm not sure if the All Purpose top would be OK. Any real world experiences here?

Thanks for the input.

What size(s) of rest tops are you looking at having or needing ? (If I understand correctly).
I have both rests and the tops that they provided when I purchased them will accommodate bags that range from the 3" wide forend down (Down being a 2 1/4" & a 1 3/4" I'm figuring).
The Sinclair Heavy Varmint base rest I don't really see much more that is easily done to it.
The Sinclair Competition Rest has other options but it will require purchasing additional threaded post(s) and rest tops if one so desires to add-on. - I was able to use the Hart Rest Top that will work with a 4", 5" & 6" protector bag with just a bit of minor modification, and an extra post which they sell. - While I was at it I got another hand wheel so that it was quick to change from the original provided top to the wider top.
I would get the top that uses the various sizes of bags. I've had a rest that had the "adjustable" type top and IMO it is not as good as using well fitting sand bags on the style of top that is designed for the protector or Edgewood bags. -

That's my take on it -

That’s what I wanted to know. If the AP top isn’t up to snuff I will just buy an additional post, hand wheel and top to put it together piecemeal.

Thanks for the input.
