Sinclair Comp Rest Base Plates - Pre-Order Live

I had an inquiry and I know some long range guys have fashioned these themselves, so I made two of these two test. In about 2 weeks I should have some feedback and will determine if I think they are worth putting on our website for sale.

  • Adds 15.5# to weight.
  • Uses existing holes in Sinclair base to mount. Screws provided.
  • Uses OEM front feet and Speedscrew (1/2"-20 threads)
  • Plate is ambidextrous - countersinks from both directions allow L/H configuration
  • Increases footprint by 77%. The area of the triangle that the three feet make grows from 60.375 SQ IN to 106.75 SQ IN.
  • The speed screw becomes about 26% "speedier" and has 26% more travel
  • Preserves all factory mounting locations for loading blocks/ accessories
  • Preserves factory handle and adds another
  • Shortens distance between speed screw and windage knob by 9/16"
  • Target price of $65-$80, no paint, powder coat, nor delivery included
  • Laser cut 1/2" HRS, CNC machined (drilled c'sunk, tapped, chamfered all around)
A few questions:
  1. Would you have interest?
  2. Would you be willing to pay more (maybe $20) to have them powder coated?
  3. Should I call it "The Texas Tornado Base" or the "Poop Emoji Base"
Thanks for your help/ interest. If people like them, I'll probably do a pre-order with a little discount to help me plan production (like we did the scope checkers).

Dallas, TX. We're about to ship one to Bakersfield, CA. I'll know more about ground rates soon.

I may have already expressed my interest. Would like one for my Hart rest. Contact me when ready.

That didn't take long... haha

I like the handle hole.

Thanks. This has been on the drawing board for a few weeks. Long range guys have been cobbling them together for years. Nothing new other than a few of my ideas/ tweaks and trying to standardize on a design and make a few dozen to get price down.
