SOLD Sinclair 6 PPC XP-100

I acquired this rifle with a few others as a package deal from someone who had years ago purchased it at auction and never fired it – so there’s not a lot of ‘known’ history.

I believe based on exchanges with a few forum members that this was a Fred Sinclair build and is likely a McMillan Graphite stock. It’s an XP-100 action and is glued in. I’m not certain of the trigger, but it is a bench rest pull weight and the pins to remove it are accessible with the stock mounted. The barrel is labelled .262 neck, is approx. 15/16” dia. and is 21.25” Long The forend is just shy of 3” wide.

As far as condition, as you can see the stock could use some touch ups and paint. I haven’t fired it.

Let me know if you have any questions or feel free to share information if this looks familiar to you. If anyone offers up cheap dies and brass for .262NK to give it a try, I might change my mind!

Looking for $1100 shipped from my FFL to yours or $1000 pick up in central PA.PXL_20230913_235619597~2.jpgPXL_20230913_235627078.jpgPXL_20230913_235708653.jpgPXL_20230913_235729559.jpgPXL_20230913_235733928.jpgPXL_20230913_235801051.jpg

I have a twin to that rifle (and gosh if I were not broke I'd be at your door buying it today). Mine is a Superior of Dryden Action, but it is on the same stock, same trigger, same color, same barrel profile. Mine is a 22PPC and was Fred Sinclair's personal rifle. It is a Lee Six stock. I have a letter from Fred confirming the history of the rifle. If you do not sell it i might be interested in 9 months or so...

I might be able to find a photo of mine if interested. (Mine has no pistol grip...but I have another, red, with a pistol grip. It was Becky Sinclair's 1980 HV.

Thanks for the info, and feel free to share pictures! I googled the lee six stocks and it looks like you may be right, it sounds like you have quite the experience with sinclair rifles and this one would look good in your collection :)

Anyone seriously interested, feel free to send me a PM and I can send you a link to a borescope video. I'm an amateur bore videographer so please be patient!

One last bump then I'll put it back in the safe and keep my eyes peeled for brass/dies until next spring.
snert has me second guessing selling this rifle!
