Of all things, Firefox decided to pop an article about Hayha into my stream....
I always think this gentleman does not exactly get the recognition he deserves. And a lot of this shooting was with iron sights.
One thing never discussed in so-called sniper kill numbers is whether they were working in a target-rich environment.
Hayha, Kyle, and several of the Red Army snipers on the Eastern front all operated in one. Which DOES NOT mean I take away from their achievements.
My main hero, if such a word is appropriate as a sniper, is Carlos Hathcock. Who matched woodsmanship and shooting ability. I met him once at the SHOT Show. He was in a wheelchair then, but I won't forget it.
