Silver State Armory Brass by Nosler

Anybody had experience with Silver State Armory brass? Grafs has some 300 Blackout brass listed as Nosler with SSA heasdstamp for about $.24 per compared to $.80 for the Nosler. It looks like Nosler acquired SSA back in 2013 and are making it an ammo line geared for semi autos. I know its not the same as Nosler brass. I was just wondering if maybe Nosler has some say in the manufacturing process or it is just Nosler in name only.

Nosler/SSA now has their own brass plant, making rifle and pistol brass from raw materials here in Oregon. It will have the Nosler headstamp, is of high quality and should be available in all calibers very soon. They are putting a lot into this venture, and want to do it right.

It will say "Nosler", because it IS Nosler.

Nosler purchased SSA over a year ago, so they has been involved now for some time. Hard to say when the SSA headstamp will be replaced with the new logo, but I'm guessing that there will be two headstamps, SSA and Nosler. SSA has been making brass and loaded ammo for a very long time, most of it has been in military and LE calibers.

The SSA brass that I've seen was decent stuff, I wouldn't be afraid of it.

I had 400 pieces of SSA brass in .260 Rem only lasted 2-3 firings before the primer pockets were unusable. Don't know about other calibers.
