ssa 243 win brass

I bought some silver state armory brass it was $40 for 100 newthey all weighed with in a couple gr. but needed alot of case prep to be uniform. When they were shipped they were shipped from the nosler facility in bend,or. Has anyone used this brass before. And is it nosler with different headstamps needing the rest of the prep work done to be loaded.

SAA was (is) a low end manufacturer that was originally in Nevada and moved to Oregon in 2010-ish.

Nosler bought them last year. They are still a low end manufacturer. I would think that in time, Nosler will bring them up in quality to start making Nosler brass - but not now.

He did say they weighed within a couple grains, most cheap brass like Remington is all over the place.

This summer, I prep'ed, annealed and weight-sorted over 800 pieces of Remington 222 Magnum brass. They were bought in two batches, 12 years apart.

They separated out into two groups that were +/- <1gr, and total spread was <2.5gr.

Not too shabby for 12 years apart.

Well for the price i expected some work would have to be done to them. I bought them for my hunting rifle which is nothing more than a ruger american predator. This whole project has really turned into how cheap can you go and at what accuracy.
