To our valued members:
We created our Gold and Silver membership program two years ago (June 2017). The membership program has been vital to this Forum.
To help sustain the Forum, the Silver level membership will increase from $20.00 for a 12-month period to $25.00. This is effective today, July 1, 2019. Gold Level remains unchanged at $50 for a 12-month period.
Silver Membership Is Now $25 for 12 Months.
That will continue to include Unlimited Classifieds for 12 months.
NOTE: All current Silver members will see no increase in fees until the end of their current 12-month terms.

We needed this increase for the following reasons:
1. Since January 2017, Forum membership has grown by 34.5% to over 45,700 members.
2. The big growth in membership has significantly increased our costs for web servers, security services, firewalls, and software development.
3. In addition, we are overdue for some major layout work on the content pages of AccurateShooter.com, and the cost of this will be significant, potentially $20,000 or more.
4. We are now background checking EVERY new sign-up. That's done to protect YOU our current members. That has increased our work level by 400+ man-hours per year, with no end in sight.
5. We are grateful to all the Gold and Silver members who support the site. However, in 2019 we have observed the average membership transaction value has decreased. We need to raise the price of Silver to maintain revenue levels.
6. Your Forum Boss is currently working over 3000 hours per year on the site. We need to hire staff to relieve that burden, which is taking its toll. I'll be 64 in a couple months.
Why You Should Become a Supporting Member (Silver or Gold)
Guys, if you haven't become a supporting member yet, please consider doing so. Right now we have about 1570 Gold and Silver members. That's 3.4% of the total membership.
We need to increase that number. It's not fair that 3.4% of the members are bearing the burden so that 96.6% of Forum users can "ride the bus for free". We would like to see the membership numbers increase to 5% and then 10%.
If we could get 10% of the members to contribute, we could provide a host of services that would really benefit ALL members!

$25 a Year works out to just $0.48 per week or $2.08 per month
