Folks,
I am the happy owner of a new SIII 10-50x60, and am currently working with a friend to get some decent scope lense caps made for it. Leather scope caps that are awesome in my opinion.
Anyways, he would also like to get the SIII 8-32x56 dimensions (OD) of the objective and the ocular end to possibley make caps for that scope and I dont have one to measure.
Could I bother a few of you to take some measurements with your 6" dial caliper of this scope (8-32x56) and "PM" me your findings. I took several readings with of 10-50x60 within 1/4" of the end of the scope tube/bell as it apperared to be the "largest" area. So I would think that if you measured the same area, it'll give a good overall reading.
Note: Looking for O.D. measurments...
Thanks for your help.
