Sightron Zero Stop Turret issue

I just purchased a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 with zero stop and MOA-2 reticle. My question is, does anyone else have this scope and struggle to see the reference line for the scope adjustments? Below is a picture of what I’m talking about. That isn’t my scope in the photo but looks just like my turret except mine is in MOA. When I am behind the rifle I can’t see the reference line to tell where I’m at when dialing up. I can see the numbers on the turret but have no clue if I’m on 5 MOA or 5.5 MOA because I can’t see the line clearly. Anyone else have this issue? Thank you.7E7085F9-A3E7-4938-8D83-25C7C5073357.jpeg

How could anyone see the reference line when looking thru the scope?

Lousy design. Makes me wonder what else they screwed up, but I guess this is what happens when you let people who do even shoot rifles design your scopes.

I have the 10x50x60 zero stop model, once your set your zero put a fine white line on zero lock ring lined up with line on tube, use toothpick and wifes white nail polish you can see your mark without lifting your head up cheesy I know if I would have waited a little longer before I bought they now have a new internal stop

Yeah I just bought this scope and it’s new. I didn’t realize the reference line for the turret was so obscure. I have to look almost straight down on it to the line because the rings block my view of it when I’m behind the rifle. I got a really fine white paint pen that I’m going to use and make a line on the zero stop ring after I get it zeroed and set. I love the scope other than this issue. I agree that this seems really cheesy for a scope that’s in the $1000 price range. If I would have know this would be like this, I would have just bought the non zero stop SIII. Oh well.
