Sightron Side Focus Wheel

I just purchased a Sightron 10 50x60 scope from member on this forum and had a terrific experience. Having said that, I am new to this forum and new to long range shooting. I am working with serious budget constraints, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if and who makes a less costly side focus wheel that would fit my Sightron. They make a nice one but its $130.00 dollars and just a tad out of my range at the moment. Any input would be appreciated.

some thing you might want to consider is if the side focus wheel is going to interfere with a port or any thing on the action. I started to buy one for my Sightron but realized it would be in the way of my load port.

The operation is generally tight, and you can send to the service center in NC to have it adjusted for easier turning.

Buy this for about $15:

remove the inner rubber ring. Loosen the two set screws and use a small screwdriver to remove the ring. since the Sightron parralax/focus knob is of a bigger diameter than the UTG's, dremel away with a sanding attachment enough of the rubber to press the big wheel over the Sightron knob. works great. however since the UTG scopes and the Sightron parallax in opposite directions, the numbers on the big wheel will only be "accurate" at one setting. i lined mine up so it is correct at 100 yds. no big deal. the Sightron knob has no numbers on it anyways. the only other bad news is having "UTG" somewhere on your rifle.

Thanks I just ordered one. Anxious to see how it works. Gotta be better than spending what Sightron wants for one. Thanks.

hi just took the rifle out today for the first time since i installed it and it worked great. I will say that my parallax/focus knob was very stiff when the scope was new but has since loosened up.
