Anyone here have a Sightron II side focus

Just curious if anyone here had one and what they thought of it. I am looking at a 6.5 X 24 X 50 with mil dot and side focus. Comparing that to a Sightron II 4-16 X 42 tactical with mil dot.

I have a Sightron II 6.5-20x50mm side focus model with the Mil-Dot reticle sitting on my newly build .17 Remington that sports a SS super match grade Pac-Nor barrel. I have only shot 12 shots down the tube, but the scope is clear and bright and the Mil-Dots don't seem to clutter up the view. I really haven't shot it enough to make a decent evaluation of the scope and how it performs, but I like it so far.

I haven't looked through a Sightron II 4-16 X 42 tactical with mil dot, so I cannot give you any opinion of how they compare.
