Sightron Service

On 8-1-16 I sent my 10x50x60 Sightron scope in for warranty work. I sent them Two parts. Broke it in half Was told they will warranty my scope.. No way I killed it. But they did what they said got it today GOOD AS NEW.. That is what I call service.. Tommy Mc..installing Zee rings.. Witch are now in the Trash..I told the good guys at Sightron. please bill me for the repairs.They did not..
 
That is an encouraging post to read. Usually someone complains, but it is good on you to report on their good service.

I own a few Sightron scopes in BR models and never had ANY trouble with the scopes to have to try their customer service and warranty. Best news I've read all day. ;) WD
 
1+ for sightron. I only have one, a 8x32, and had a problem with the anodizing flaking off on the inside. They sure treated me right, no questions ask. That scope has been on every beater rifle I've owned and it still preforms great.
 
Good to hear there are still good companies out there who care about their customers. And I will say I will continue being a customer of theirs because of it.

Gotta ask though, how did you break it in half??

I was looking at the inserts. Did not see the bell on the barrel. Heard a click . This is something you do once.. Tommy Mc..
 
When companies stand behind their product, go above and beyond, it's nice when someone gives them the credit they deserve. Makes me feel good about my three Sightrons. I just had a similar experience with SWFA. Good for Sightron!
 
I completly agree....except that after sending 3 back for warranty repairs at $25 shipping each, I decided to go to manufactures with less quality issues.

Sightron fixed them all no charge, but i got tired of boxing them up and shipping them back. Never had to return a NF or Leupy.
 
I have a Sightron 10-50x60 SIII. I overtightened the rings...yes, I torqued them too tight. The side focus wouldn't allow me to focus at distance. I spoke to Allen over the phone and sent the scope back. He called and said...umm, you bought the wrong scope. The one you have is for air rifle, but we can fix it so you can use it for distance. He also walked me through torquing the rings. I am using a QD mount on a flat top large frame AR and the ring manufacturer's torque was was too much for this scope. But I was really, really impressed with Allen. And they were not going to charge me for any of this, but I wouldn't have it...they finally accepted the cost of the "fix". It would be cheap at twice the price! I just can't say enough good about this company.
 
Glad I bought one!! Now, even more confidence as I gather my pennies to purchase another!
 
I have 5 Sightron scopes, the oldest and only SII scope I have broke several months ago. The turret stem on the elevation turret came loose from the body. I've had this scope for around 15 years, and don't know how many different rifles it's been mounted on since I originally bought it.
Sightron repaired it, sent new lense covers and some other goodies, and it only took 3 1/2 weeks for me to get it back.
I love Sightron scopes and their customer service!

I am having just the opposite luck with Home Depot .
May 9 ordered replacement Sliding Doors and Windows with Spl. glass to reflect Heat.
June installed products ,only to find out wrong Glass !!!! Called and called for Help.
Yes we will reorder ? Monday 8/15 I call what about my windows ,we will call you back ------------ No call .
8/17 I call Home Depot Home Office " I have had it ! Give me my money back, your products will be on the road in front of my home........
They called right back we can install then starting 8/18 to doors in, back today 8/19 lost of noise broke on 6ft by 5 1/2ft window .
As I type noise getting more intent. Time to drink.

Both flip caps for my Sightron III broke. Went to order new ones....Surprise NO CHARGE for replacements. WOW in this day and age What service !!
 
Sent in a 6-24X last year....also had a very good experience w/Sightron Service. No different than Leupold in my situation. Quick and free.
