Sightron 10-50x60 = $1000.00. now you have to buy sun sheade 49.95 + screw cups how much ?
At the end it will be very close to 1100 or 1200 dollars. Like every body said best buy for the buck. try to compare sightron with nite force.
If you still thinking best buy for your money. there is ONE name NITE FORCE.
i have both of them . if sightron sale for half price of nite force i will buy it with out thinking. But not at this price. Hope your open your eyes & think about it before you spend your hard earn money.

The Nightforce in that magnification would be around $1885.00. Thats over 50% more. Quite a differnce. You should have bought the Sightron 8-32 SIII from Natchez on sale for $699.00. Do you really need 10 - 50X????? I'm sure Nightforce is good with all those fancy reticles, but the Sightrons have been getting a lot of positive talk as of late.

I wouldn't call Nightforce the best buy for your money. You paying top dollar for a premium product. No Bargains. The Sightrons have been compared to Nightforce favorably and are significantly less expensive. Don't forget you pay top dollar when the product first hits the street.

I can get a new Sightron 10-50x here in western PA for 800.00 plus tax. That is not a bad price considering that Midway wants 995.00 for the same thing.

Yeah, I believe it. And I think I know where your getting it. Just gotta know how to shop. Only a fool would buy a scope from Midway.

SWFA is selling all the Sightron SIII 8-32X56mm for $699.00. This is for any of the new reticles. Not a bad price considering most people have paid around $800.00. Hey man, $100.00 bucks is a nice dinner out.

I did not see the 10-50X listed.

I scooped up a 8-32 SIII with Target Dot last night for $699.00 plus $14.00 shipping. Seamed to be a good deal since most other web sites have posted prices anywhere from $779.00 to $849.00. Hey, for all I know, someone may be selling them for $649.00 next week.

I just got mine mounted and bore sighted yesterday. Still too much snow to get out to the range. But it sure looks like it'll be a great scope! Depending on ones use...I'd highly recommend a 20 m.o.a base...to have the elevation for 1K shooting.

I think these will be a popular option for folks.

I was in a hurry to get the 10-50X because I liked the 32X
that I got last year, so I got it from Midway. It would have
been nice to save a few bucks, but when you see what some
are paying for a March or the other high end scopes, I am very
happy with the new Sightron 10-50. Twenty years ago
you couldn't buy a scope like this for any price. I have two
Nightforce, two Sightron, six Leupold, two Weaver, and a couple cheaper ones and I think they are all good for the price
I paid for them. I am happy with all my scopes and thankful
that I could afford things that I couldn't get when I was
younger. I don't feel that every one is out to gouge me.

I noticed today on SWFA that the Sightron prices went back up to there previous levels. $995.00 for the 10-50 and $842.00 for the 8-32. Glad I jumped on the sale when I did. apparently the scope is on backorder. We shall see......SWFA better not waffle on those prices posted.

I talked to them today to add some lens caps to my order and ask about the ETA of the backorder and was told first of April. Asking for a total price after my additions the price on the scope was still $840.
But like you said we will see! I and cant say how they are to deal with. I haven’t heard anything bad though.

Crap. I was going to place an order online tonight and noticed the price went up since last night. I had to confirm a guy was going to buy a rifle from me since that was were some of the funds were coming from. I just ordered a Pentax PF 100 ED spotter from them earlier today and could have gotten the Sightron first instead.

Can somebody fill me in on that PA connection? I would really appreciate it.

I got my 10-50 today and it came with lens caps. They are rubber slip on with a plastic flip up cover. I don't care for them. I ordered the 62mm Nikon camera lens cover off ebay for 4.99. Should work out well after I remove the Nikon logo, lol
