Sightron Scope Decision

So I’ve put together a benchrest 10/22 build and am searching for that perfect scope for 50yd shooting, but that would also be good for 25yd when I’m stuck at my indoor range in winter months.
I put on an Athlon Argos BTR 10-40 that I had picked up previously but find at higher magnifications it lacks clarity. So I’ve been looking hard at the Sightron offerings. I’m considering either their SIII 45x45ED Target dot or the SIII 10x50x60 Target dot model. Looking from input from people who have used either of these models.

I have both. The 10-50 is to my eyes a little darker at the same power as the 45ed. The 10-50 sv is highly rated if looking your to spend more. Overall I like both very much

I have a Sightron 45x ED on my Vudoo V22s, only used it outdoors at 50yd in ARA, ABRA & PS150 matches, day and night time, would buy again. Can't say about 25 yd clarity, but I see the "white" between the CH's and dots when holding just off the dot at 50 yd.

I've got both. The 45x has crisper (for lack of better term) optics and the 1/10 MOA adjustments are very handy. It can be more difficult to get on target and there is no dialing back power for mirage. I have never tried to focus at less than 100 yards, but if the specs say it will do it, then I'd go for it.

Never had a bad experience with any of my Sightrons...
almost what the Doctor Ordered so to speak, especially my SVSSED 10x50
