Sightron parallax assist knob

I haven’t seen that one, looks like it is a pretty good DIY option. Since people had shown interest I was going to sell them for $15 shipped with tracking once I get them printed in ABS. Could also do some custom diameters or hole patterns if requested. I will share the STL files for free any time though.
Just so you know if it's worth your time or not. When you get up and running, I'll take two for the 10-50 of the smaller version(left port).

You Sir are a better man than I. I wouldn't ship out envelopes full of air for fifteen bucks. Neither would Sightron.

Following Punkinslinger's lead, I'll take two small for the 8-32 and two small for the 6-24 when they're ready. Nice work!

For knobs that have resistance, I prefer knurling. Reading this thread and having one of the FFP Sightrons that needs a pipe wrench to turn the knob, has given me an idea. I'm going to just make one out of aluminum or delrin and secure it with set screws.
Aside from that, what is the deal with these scopes? That knob needs to be free and able to turn quickly if you're using the scope for hunting and at the high powers. Anyone ever figure a fix for the stiffness?

I currently only make these for the 10-50x scopes. If your other sightron scopes have a knob with ~1.468 diameter and 18 teeth then it should be the same size.

I believe they are the same. Going to check . . .

Thank you.

Nope. I'm out of luck. The parallax knob on the 8-32 and the 6-24 are smaller.

They aren’t super hard to move, but the knob is somewhat tight and small. When you are tying to perfectly set your parallax sometimes it feels like the knob didn’t move at all when it has. Increasing the diameter should increase the ability to feel the minor changes.

Received my wheels from Stray8 today, a nice snug (thumb) press fit. I like that it has no set screws, it has a slit cut in it and is designed to keep pressure on knob to hold it in place, the lugs are large enough to grip between your thumb and finger, should work well. I ordered two of the smaller version, for left port, one rig has high rings so the bigger wheel would've worked on it, but this'll be just fine. To date, the most functional and reasonably priced shooting gizmo, I ever purchased :D

I have recently adapted the design to fit the vortex golden eagle. The original Sightron will actually fit a golden eagle but the tooth spacing is off a little. Same deal as the others if anybody wants to buy one.

However, if someone wants one for a Sightron 8-32 or other popular scope that I don’t currently make one for and wants to ship me just their parallax knob to fit one to, I will ship it back with a free knob extension.

A very generous offer! I'll take one off of one of my 8-32 SIIIs and send it along directly.

Thank you.
