Sightron MOA-H reticle

Looking for input from those with experience using the Sightron MOA-H reticle. My main question is—would you tend to find this reticle too “busy” for deer hunting or coyote calling applications? Thoughts welcome and appreciated.

I have a couple with the MOA-H reticle. It is busy to my eyes, but I don't use Xmas tree type reticles in any of my hunting rifles. I prefer to have the whole top half clean, or as uncluttered as possible. If you're a PRS shooter or used to such reticles it would probably work great.
Another point is, does your scope have illumination? It might be a little thin in low light without it. I hunt elk mostly in dark timber and strongly prefer a scope that has a single lit dot. I think the MOA-H reticle with illumination has the whole reticle light up, which would be very "busy" looking in my opinion.
Of course if you're hunting from a stand or "beanfield" hunting etc, it might work great for you, but it wouldn't be my choice for timber elk hunting. Good luck.

It is my favorite Sightron reticle. I spend a few weeks each year shooting prairie dogs. Mostly I use the Vortex Viper HS LR scope. Common shot for me is 10mph crosswind target is 200 yards. I know to hold 3 moa into the wind. Hit just as consistently as I do when it is calm.

Folks either seem to like the Christmas tree reticle, or they hate them. I used the Leupold Varmint Hunter reticle for few years and found it seriously lacking. Never could get it to work for me.

I only pay attention to the intersection I need to make the shot, the rest is just there for when I will need it.

What I use the most:

There just were never the junctions I needed on the Leupold VH reticle (for me).
