A little info surrounding costs of thermals. Scopes like these are the entry point. This one has good reviews and it works. The next cost level about $3000 for an entry level 640 resolution chip. After that the next level is about $5000 for a higher end 640 resolution chip. The next level is about $7000 for an entry level 1000-1280 resolution chip. The next level is $8000 to $10,000 to the sky is pretty much the limit. Those $10,000+scopes are very nice but way out of most peoples budget.
