sighting for 600 yds

i have a 6br that i would to try at 600 yds, probably at bridgeville de, but my home range has only 100 yds available. with a 105 to 108 grain bullet what would the come up be from a 100 yd zero to get on paper? also does anyone know if time is available for sighting in on match days. thanks!

Usually you only get 2 rounds for site verification on 600 yard matches. So, if you are shooting 105-107 grain bullets get a 100 yard zero and then go up 14 MOA and you should be close enough to finish sighting in with the second shot.

thanks. would someone familiar with bridgeville tell me if they will let non members use the range on the friday before the match sighting-in. i've never shot 600 yds and don't have much confidence that i can do it in two shots.

I ran the ballistics for a 6mm 105 gr. bullet with a .540 b.c.
velocity 2850 fps, about average for 6br.) on the Point Blank software. Sighted for 600 yards the bullet crosses 100 yds. at 13.13 inches high. IBS 600 Yd. rules allow a sight in period at the beginning. Time can vary depending on the range up to 6-10 minutes which will allow enough to fine tune your windage and elevation.You can use as many shots as needed. My experience is that if you ask someone to spot for you during this period you will usually get plenty of help.
