I've been looking at the best scope I can afford for my new Vanguard in 300 Weather by. Seems everything I looked at was junk or way too pricey. My local dealer has Famous Maker. I was almost ready to get one and in the next case a scope caught my eye. It is a sightstar triple duty 25 power 35mm tubed mildot illuminated. It seemed to be much better made and optically. I we t ahead and purchased the scope. Has anyone had experience with these? They seem to have a good warranty and customer service. Service tech said they will stand up to that round easily.

Im sorry. Its a typo. Sight-mark. Haven't tried it yet as its in layaway still

On closer review I would get your money back and buy a different scope like a vortex viper or a used bushnell 3200 if you can find one or a vari x 11 ,used,you would be better served with a repeatable scope versus a scope with all these features at such a low price.

#1 to what jon said. Too many vague claims without proof, sounds like a typical ad put together by a marketing department, in China? With a 35mm tube you would really be limited to your choice of scope rings available.

Whatever does "triple duty" mean? Would you really expect the "service tech" to say that it would not hold up to a 300 Weatherby? Warranty and service? You won't know for certain until you have to have it repaired. Optics? Again, you won't really know 'til you take it out & try it in the real world of mirage and lighting conditions.

I'd buy a good used Leupold or any other well known scope, ( made anywhere but China), especially one that had a lifetime warranty for whoever owned it, like the Leupold, before I'd buy one of these. JMO.

+2 jonbearman , and + 1 to fdshuster, money spent on a cheap optic is money wasted IMHO.
