Thinking of buying a set of these. Anyone have them that can give me the pros and cons on them thank you.

Infinite warranty with a "limited" electronics clause.

What it means if you smash it, they will fix the smash. If it quits working after 5 years, you now have nice binoculars only. They do not warranty the laser part or fix them after 5 years.

I have a sig rangefinder now. Been really good. Hopefully those last as long

I just picked up a pair of the KILO 3000 BDX. My other binoculars are old school Zeiss 10 x 40's. I will compare in the next few days and let you if the glass is similar. I did test the SIG's yesterday and was happy with ranging my neighbors house at 1300 plus yards. Thats about all I have had time for this week................ More to come. I did read the articles about SIG lack of support and other articles stating that the Vortex was way better because it had a better warranty. And some folks said that was a good thing because you will need to use it. I was stuck between the two and opted for the SIG's based on reviews of the glass and the accuracy and speed of the range finder. I guess i will find out first hand.

I really appreciate it. I have had good luck with my current sig range finder. I considered the vortex to. But had to much trouble with there scopes so I don’t buy their stuff. Please let me know when you get to test them out

I’ve had a pair since 2018 I believe.

Pros: Decent glass for the price, nice to hold, easy to use, rangefinder is excellent. In fact out of many rangefinders and rangefinder/bino combos I tested (I worked in the industry for 8 years and was able to play a lot) it was the ONLY laser rangefinder that would consistently read a coyote across a snow covered field. Durable, I’ve put mine through the paces and no ill effects.

Cons: the eye cups suck. They actually might be my least favorite eye cups of any binoculars I’ve used. They don’t stay locked in any position. To go along with this the right eye focus and rangefinder display focus wheels move all the time. They also have rubber rings that come off the internal focus wheel so the indicators for center move. Nearly every time I take mine out of the case I carry them in they are out of focus. This is due to the way and conditions I use them in. Usually cold temps with large mitts on. So I use electric tape around the cups and bino frame to keep them in place.

As stated earlier the glass is good for the price but it’s not very good compared to a $1000 set of binos only.

I’ve used the ballistic feature a lot and on a lot of coyote hunts and I’ve only had it not give me a holdover correction 1 time in all the uses over the years I’ve owned them.

For my personal experience with them I wouldn’t hesitate to own another pair.

I had the same issue with the eye cup and left&right focus rings. Very loose.

Sent it back to Sig and they replaced both. Adjustments are much tighter. The focus rings still get moved around a bit, but not as bad.
